Farm tours

Schools, delegates, birthday parties, students, family fun days or group outings- take a ride in style in our tractor and trailers.

‘Seeing is believing’ at Sheepdrove.  Enjoy a look around the farm and a chance to absorb the landscape and see the way we farm. 2,500 acres of organic arable, pasture, woodland, healthy animals and spacious husbandry systems, complete with commentary from one of our farm or conservation team members.

The tour gives an overview of organic farming, the wildlife and conservation projects on the farm.

Sustainability at our heart

Discover how we put green ethics into practice in our business, and learn of our exciting future plans.
You will see micro-generation windmills, solar heating, solar electricity cells, and more. Sheepdrove works to become continually more sustainable, and we have developed an impressive range of innovative projects over the last 10 years.

Sheepdrove itself is a prime example of sustainable thinking, with eco-friendly materials, renewable energy features and energy efficient design.
Around the farm we work to recycle and minimise waste, preserving the beauty of the Berkshire Downs.

Tailor-made farm tours

Tours can be tailored to the group in duration and content- and are normally about an hour in duration. We can focus on whatever aspect of our farm you are most interested in, whether that's sustainability, organics, livestock, food production or just a general overview.

Walking farm tours

Would you rather see some of the farm on foot? Learn about one of the largest reed bed systems in the UK, it cleans all our waste water using a network of reed beds, ponds and miniature swirling pools – all driven by the force of gravity. Not only does it recycle our waste water, but it benefits wildlife at the same time.
Sustainability in action here at Sheepdrove.

Tours can be as short as a 15 minute stroll to an in depth 2 hour hike. You could also combine a tractor and trailer tour with an on foot exploration and enjoy the best of both worlds.
