Recipes for the Barbecue

With the arrival of summer comes lovely long, balmy days with picnics in the park, a barbeque with friends and al fresco dining in the garden.

Lamb is unquestionably the grill meister’s meat of choice – a liberal and even marbling with fat means it’s always juicy while its robust flavour holds it’s own with aromatic marinades and pungent spice rubs.

Don’t overlook chicken drumsticks and wings, both have succulent meat, close to the bone and enough fat to keep them moist over the flames. Pork is great on the grill, with chops and ribs being the cuts of choice.
