The Sheepdrove Recital
Friday 17th May
7.00pm for pre-concert dinner (8.00pm recital only)
Russian virtuoso pianists Mikhail Kazakevich and Elena Zozina present this attractive two piano recital of music from the opera and the ballet including works by Wagner whose 200th anniversary we celebrate this year.

The Sheepdrove Recital Competition Final
3pm on Sunday 19th May
Now in its 5th year, this important piano competition under the patronage of Sir Roger Norrington and funded by the Sheepdrove Trust, is open to candidates aged 30 and under from the 8 major UK music colleges and attracts young pianists of the highest standard from around the world.

Farmland & Woodland Bird Walk
10am - 1pm on Sunday 2nd June
Join Jez Elkin, our Conservation Coordinator on a walk around the farm, looking and listening for the birds that live in our fields and woodlands. Hopefully we will see Corn Buntings, Lapwings, Yellowhammers, Red Kites and many others.
Total walk distance approx 3.5 miles. Children welcome but please no dogs.

The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde

While the good Doctor Jekyll goes about his quiet business healing the sick in Victorian London, the evil Mr Hyde runs around at night doing frankly disgraceful things. What is the connection between them? What is upsetting all the servants? And why does Dr Jekyll seem so anxious to protect Mr Hyde?
Energetic, young theatre company Rhum and Clay bring their comic sense of the absurd to this dark and dangerous tale, and together with The Watermill Theatre, lures you into the mysterious underbelly of Victorian London.

Rain or Shine Theatre Company presents...
The Comedy of Errors

Rain or Shine Theatre Company invites you to witness the comical confusion & chaotic capers of Shakespeare's hilarious masterpiece of mistaken identity!
Combining adventure, human folly, farce, romance and suspense, the Bard's clever & original plot shows a high degree of genius and creativity - an ideal choice for an outdoor theatrical event.
BBQ lunch available at 1:30pm by pre-booking only
Performance starts at 2:30pm (2.5hrs with 20min interval)
The performance is open air in our Physic Garden & will continue, rain or shine, in all but the worst weather (whereupon we will take the performance inside!). Please bring your own low backed chairs or rug & appropriate clothing for the weather conditions.
