Russian virtuoso pianists Mikhail Kazakevich and Elena Zozina present this attractive two piano recital of music from the opera and the ballet including works by Wagner whose 200th anniversary we celebrate this year.

Now in its 5th year, this important piano competition under the patronage of Sir Roger Norrington and funded by the Sheepdrove Trust, is open to candidates aged 30 and under from the 8 major UK music colleges and attracts young pianists of the highest standard from around the world.

Join Jez Elkin, our Conservation Coordinator on a walk around the farm, looking and listening for the birds that live in our fields and woodlands. Hopefully we will see Corn Buntings, Lapwings, Yellowhammers, Red Kites and many others.

Total walk distance approx 3.5 miles. Children welcome but please no dogs.

Performance starts at 2:30pm (2.5hrs with 20min interval)
The performance is open air in our Physic Garden & will continue, rain or shine, in all but the worst weather (whereupon we will take the performance inside!). Please bring your own low backed chairs or rug & appropriate clothing for the weather conditions.
